Based in Washington, DC, Jonathan Jeffress serves as a partner at Kaiser PLLC. Over his career in law, he has excelled as a practitioner of white-collar criminal defense and government investigations. Jonathan Jeffress has experience defending clients in cases concerning a wide array of criminal and civil matters, from public corruption to fraud.
Before joining Kaiser in 2016, Jonathan Jeffress spent more than 12 years as an assistant federal public defender. During this time, he secured acquittals for numerous jury trials tried before the United States District Court. He began his career as an associate at Williams and Connolly, LLP.
Jonathan Jeffress received his law degree from the University of Virginia, where he served as the editor of the law review. Before enrolling at the University of Virginia, he completed a bachelor’s in political science at Williams College, graduating cum laude. He sits on the boards of directors of several legal organizations, including Rising for Justice and the Council for Court Excellence. Outside of his legal activities, he enjoys staying physically active through hiking and skiing.
